Autumn Programme 2019
An opportunity to walk and talk and enjoy God’s creation
After two very pleasant weekday morning walks in July for eight of us, we have decided to branch out into early evening and Sunday late afternoon walks. There is a theme for each walk and one walk will end with a meal and communion. Walkers are free to opt out of the communion if they so wish. The overall theme is “Living Distinctively.” So far we have considered “How we can listen better to those we live with and work with” and “The works of our hands.”
Each walk will begin and end at a hostelry in the locality. Cars can be parked at three out of four pubs as we will be taking refreshment at them at the end of each walk. Permission has been sought and granted.
Walks will vary between 75 to 90 minutes at a moderate pace, including time en route to pause and reflect.
Walk 4
Sunday 1st December. Meeting in Selborne car park at 4.30p.m. for a “lantern in the dark”
walk [i.e. bring a torch]. Post walk refreshment in The Selborne Arms.
