Children and Primary Schools Worker
Parish of the Resurrection, Alton
Can you inspire? Do you want to be part of a dynamic team?
We are looking for a Christian Children and Primary Schools Worker who can inspire children, young people and their families to flourish in their faith in Jesus and worship regularly within our community.
The Parish of the Resurrection is in the Winchester Diocese and in North East Hampshire. We are four churches with a variety of worship. Already we have a number of activities for children, schools and their families but want to see more and grow.
We are looking for someone who will work with our volunteers and give much needed strategic leadership so that we see more children & young people in our town living for Jesus and his mission.
We are seeking someone:
- to encourage children and young people to receive for themselves the gift of faith in Jesus Christ
- to seek God for a fresh vision for children, their families and primary schools in our parish
- to provide opportunities for children and young people within the parish to flourish in their faith in Jesus Christ
- to be inspiring and innovative in approach and the activities provided so that children and young people will be drawn in and nurtured
- to have responsibility, alongside the current leaders in the parish, for the pastoral care of children, young people and their families
- to build positive and fruitful relationships all the local primary schools providing resources and time for their curriculum.
This is post for someone with experience who will relish the challenge of growing our ministry and working in a large dynamic team.
