A warm welcome awaits you at All Saints! We meet to worship in the Grade II listed building in Butts Road in the centre of Alton, opposite the fire station. The church was built in 1873 and boasts a fine peal of 8 bells and has many interesting historical features and stained glass windows.
The churchyard is well maintained and has recently acquired a new flower bed planted with medicinal plants which would have been known to the local 18th century naturalist Gilbert White.
All Saints is on the Pilgrim’s Way, which leads from Winchester to Canterbury; if you have an official Pilgrim’s Way ‘passport’ you will be able to get it stamped here. The building is usually open during daylight hours; we love to have visitors popping in. Do pay us a visit.
