Crib Service at Holy Rood, Holybourne at 4pm on Christmas Eve. Rev’d Gordon writes:
This year at our Crib Service we are going to listen to the Christmas ABCs story. Everyone is encouraged to dress up in nativity costume including all the grown-ups! We’ll also be singing lots of our favourite carols. And…two real donkeys will be making an appearance!
There will be plenty of opportunity for congregational participation! During the service every time the word “Shepherds,” is used the Shepherds will be encouraged to say “Let’s go see!” Every time the word “Wise Men,” is used the Wise Ones will say “Look, a star!” When the word “Angel,” is used the angels will say, “Hallelujah!”
Come and have some fun and discover more about the birth of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour.
If you wish to help walk the donkeys down to the church, meet at the War Memorial in Holybourne at 3.30pm.
Christmas Eve Crib Service at St Lawrence Church, Alton at 4pm:
Come and help Andrew and Joy tell the story of the grumpy innkeeper whose sleep is constantly interrupted in this interactive nativity where everyone can join in. Come dressed as Shepherds, Kings, donkeys, stars, sheep or angels because the cast is you!
Come and discover the birth of Jesus and have a little fun as well!
We look forward to seeing you there.
