Guided Tour of the British Museum

Revd Clive Anderson from The Butts Church is a regular tour guide around The British Museum in London and several people have expressed and interest in taking an opportunity to go with him one day.  Those who toured Greece with us last year might find it of particular relevance but more the merrier.  Clive is offering to do this on Wednesday 12th September.  We will meet to catch the 8.44am train from Alton Station arriving at The British Museum for…

Forget-me-not Service to remember and support families with Dementia led by Revd Rachel Sturt and Debbie Thrower, Anna Chaplains to Older People. and aftwards, 3.15pm in the Church Hall join us for a Fundraising Afternoon Tea, Memory Lane Sing-a-Long and Grand Raffle. ALL WELCOME

Meet and Eat – a group for women of the Parish for fun, food and fellowship

Next meeting on Monday 6th August, meeting at The Swan Hotel in town for a town walk followed by a meal back in The Swan. Monday 3rd September, the meeting will be at the home of Sarah Neish, Old Park Farm in Beech (the home of Jardinique – opposite Alton Abbey). Monday 6th August – 2-4pm Alton Methodist Church A summer holiday seaside themed ‘Messy Church’ at Alton Methodist Church for children accompanied by parent/carer as a GAP project.  There will be games, crafts, stories, songs and all this followed by a time to eat. For children aged 3-11 years). Do come alton – you will be made very welcome!
