Praying in the community

Vox Lucis at Alton Abbey

The a cappella singers — Vox Lucis — are returning by popular request following their wonderful performance last April, and will be singing in the Abbey Church, Alton Abbey, GU34 4AP “NE TIMEAS MARIA” Saturday, 9th December 2017 at 2pm The programme will be mainly early music, to include Palestrina, Victoria, Parsons, Tallis , De Wert and others. GAP Initiative – Knitted Angels

Come and find out about this exciting outreach project that has been successfully run from North Camp Methodist Church for the last couple of Christmases. There will be a GAP council meeting open to all at 7pm on Weds 29th November at St Lawrence church in the Galilee chapel. You can find out more on the Rushmoor Christmas Angels Facebook page.

Teach them to your children, talking about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise. Deuteronomy 11:19 Becoming a grandparent is something tremendously special and I, for one, was completely unprepared for the out-pouring of love that I felt towards our first grandchild. Of course the experience of grand parenting is very varied, ranging from a full involvement in child care to a distant relationship conducted over skype, and…

Christmas Fair – Alton Methodist Church

The fair takes place in the church on Saturday 25th November, 10am — 12noon Come and browse the stalls of home-baking, jewellery & accessories, fancy goods, toys, sweets and Christmas decorations.
