Revd Lynn Power

Lynn lives in Alton with her husband Ian. She has two daughters and two grandsons. She gained a degree in Religious Studies and a teaching qualification from King’s College London and after teaching for many years she was ordained; serving her curacy in The North Hampshire Down’s Benefice. During this time she was appointed chaplain at Treloar School and College where she was able to combine both her teaching and priestly calling. She has recently retired from Treloar’s but continues to be licensed to POTR where she retains a special interest in children’s’ ministry and has focal responsibility for St. Peter’s Church, Beech. She loves bringing the Bible stories alive for today’s younger generation and is a great fan and advocate of the Open the Book scheme. In her spare-time she loves reading, walking, looking after her grandsons and even doing jigsaw puzzles!
