The King’s Arms affectionately known as ‘KA’ to the young people, is a charity that has been set up to meet the needs of the young people of Petersfield and Alton and their surrounding villages. KA run a range of different clubs for different age groups and have loads of cool things for young people to do from arts and crafts, cooking or just having space to chill! The King’s Arms project want the young people of this region to fulfil their potential and know their worth. KA hope that the young people will take ownership of their club and help them to turn it into something that meets their needs and inspires them to get the best out of life!
The King’s Arms Alton has recently relocated to the Tannery building in Alton and are undergoing building works to provide a fantastic space for young people to meet.
Their aims are for young people to:
To have a safe and fun space to meet
To have opportunities to talk and discover meaning in life
To feel positive about themselves
To feel valued as individuals
To feel part of a community to which they contribute
To be supported to make wise, informed decisions
To be supported to become good citizens
