We have some really successful children’s groups in the parish all wonderfully led by Martha, our Children, youth and family worker. But in order for Martha to run these club she needs volunteers to help her. It’s really fun, not hard work and would be really appreciated.
Volunteer for Glow
Childrens group for years 3-6, held in St Ls church on Thursdays from 3:15-5pm
Volunteers would help to make drinks and toast, join in with bible discussion and group discussion, play games and help with crafts.

Volunteer for Church@4
Church@4 is our all-age service held in St Lawrence school on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month from 4-5pm
Volunteers are needed for help with set up from 3pm, serving refreshments, being on a welcome team, talking to families and people attending or helping to prepare and lead crafts, prayers or the talks in the service.

Volunteer for Summer Club
We ran a very successful summer club last year and we are looking to do it again this year.
Volunteers are needed for lots of different roles.
Admin team to help with registration on the day, consent forms etc.
Team leaders, these volunteers help to look after a group of around 8 children during the session, they support with crafts, discussions, activities, and other things during the day.
On stage, there are a few roles doing upfront talking or acting during the sessions.
Set up team, helping to prepare activities for each day, helping to set up marquee at the beginning of August, helping to set up props.
Set down team, helping to clear up after sessions, help to take marquee down at the end of August, help to make sure everything is put away ready for the next week.
